Fushifaru Maldives is located on the north eastern edge of Faadhippolhu (Lhaviyani Atoll), and has two channels connecting the atoll’s inner lagoon to the outer sea. A natural sandbank lies on one side. Vibrant and abundant sea creatures swim around in a small triangle connecting three of the most distinctive dive sites in this national Marine Protected Area.

Fushifaru Thila, a large plateau covered by blocks of corals formed like a pinnacle with 12–15 metres at the top, is among the best areas to dive in the Maldives. The Thila is located in the channel in the protected area hosting an array of marine species with an exceptional attraction towards the cleaner wrasse fish. A diver’s dream with exciting species at every turn. Stingrays, white-tip sharks and barracudas call this spot home along with frequent visits from manta rays.
